A drink for old poets, young cynics, and the kind of person who wears leather clothing.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz bourbon or rye (the only therapy you trust)
- 1 sugar cube or 1/2 tsp sugar (bittersweet, like every damn memory)
- 2–3 dashes Angostura bitters (anger in liquid form)
- Orange twist or cherry (if you must pretend)
Instructions:
Muddle the sugar and bitters in a glass until it looks like regret. Add ice, then bourbon. Stir slow—like the walk home from a bar where they never knew your name. Garnish if you want, or just drink it like a man who’s read too many poems and paid too many late fees.
